On August 4, you can help bring home a different kind of winner at Canterbury Park.
Hurdles Foundation is holding a charity event on Saturday, August 4, and you’re invited to join us. The event will benefit Bolder Options, a uniquely successful youth mentoring program in Minnesota.It’s also a prelude to a grand steeplechase day we’re planning for the summer of 2019, again to raise money for at-risk kids in the state.

When you buy a seat or table in the exclusive Triple Crown Club room at Canterbury on August 4, you will be making a donation to Hurdles Foundation and Bolder Options. Your day will include:
- An opportunity to learn about Bolder Options from founder Darrell Thompson, former U of M football great and Rochester, MN native. Hear from Darrell and kids who have benefited from the program.
- A real ‘casino night’ feel from Canterbury Park’s experienced gaming professionals. You will receive a chip voucher to play blackjack, baccarat and other games. Win prizes with your winnings!
- Reserved seating with an exceptional view of the track, as well as access to outside seating to really soak up the horse racing experience.
- A buffet to match the elegance of the day, access to private betting windows and special guests
